Program Description
Sociology plays an important role in helping governments, corporations and citizens to solve problems and cope better in a rapidly changing, complex world. The methods, social analysis and knowledge developed by sociologists and the diverse subjects studied reflect the complexity of human behavior and social life. The study of sociology provides students with sociological skills applicable to a host of careers and professions.
The Center for Policy Research and Evaluation provides both undergraduate and graduate students in sociology (and other disciplines) the opportunity to gain experience through direct participation in "real world" research projects. |
