Program Description
The Bachelor Of Science In Chemistry is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and is designed primarily for students who plan to enter graduate programs in chemistry or other closely related sciences.
The Bachelor Of Arts In Chemistry fulfills the need of those students who are pursuing premedical or pre dental programs as well as those who plan to enter fields such as business, environmental or patent law, where a background in chemistry can be useful.
Through the department's active World Wide Web interactive study program, students can access numerous applications from their home computers or at the well equipped Science Student Center. The center provides for exchange between students and is supported by a committed and experienced faculty. The ACS has commended the Science Society of CSUDH for its high quality activities and programs. Founded to serve the interests and concerns of science students, it sponsors scientific, educational, professional and social activities.
